Position type: Locum Tenens — General Cardiology (non‑interventional)

Coverage: Clinical + Call (ongoing)

Schedule

• Clinic/Procedure hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• On‑call: 1–2 weeknights per week; weekend call 1:4–1:5
• Specific coverage dates (hours noted where different):
  • Jul 27–31, 2026: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; Jul 31 night call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Aug 1–2, 2026: 24‑hour call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
  • Aug 10–14, Aug 24–28, Sep 8–11, Sep 21–25, Oct 5–9, Oct 19–23, Nov 2–6, Nov 16–20, Nov 30–Dec 4, Dec 14–18, 2026: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • Sep 25 night call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Sep 26–27 24‑hour call
  • Oct 23 night call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Oct 24–25 24‑hour call
  • Dec 4 night call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Dec 5–6 24‑hour call

Clinical volume & patients

• Adult patients
• Typical volume: 17–18 patients/day

Facility & support

• Hospital beds: 150
• EMR: Epic
• APP support available; Interventional Cardiology team on site

Privileges & compliance

• Temporary privileges available with a clean file

Required clinical skills / procedures

• Nuclear reads, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), cardioversions, interpretation of echo monitors

Qualifications

• PA medical license required (IMLC accepted only)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Nuclear boarded and Echo boarded required
• CT boarded preferred (not required)
• Active DEA required
• Minimum 1 year post‑training experience
