Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist OR graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician program
• Current CPR certification
• At least 1 year total relevant experience

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
• Perform instrument counts and document perioperative records
• Clean, decontaminate, and set up surgical instruments and equipment per protocols
• Ensure compliance with OR safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards
• Communicate effectively with surgical team and support staff

Licensure/Certifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred where applicable
• Current CPR required

Work Environment

• Fast-paced hospital operating room with rotating shifts
• Requires adherence to hospital policies and standard precautions
