Locum Tenens Occupational Medicine Physician — Iselin/Woodbridge Township, NJ (DOT-Certified)

Compensation: $150 per hour

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty physicals.
• Conduct DOT physicals and ensure FMCSA compliance.
• Evaluate, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses; coordinate follow-up care.
• Interpret diagnostic studies (EKGs, X-rays, labs) as clinically indicated.
• Complete workers’ compensation documentation and communicate work status and restrictions to employers.
• Promote workplace health, safety, and injury-prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification required.
• Experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care strongly preferred.
• Current DEA registration and ability to complete credentialing.
