Academic Nephrology Physician – Martinsburg, WV (Faculty Opportunity)

What you’ll do

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient nephrology care, managing acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, and other renal conditions.
• Oversee dialysis patients and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, patient-centered treatment.
• Work closely with primary care physicians and other specialists to optimize outcomes.
• Keep thorough, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in clinical education, mentoring, and teaching activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in quality improvement and academic projects as appropriate.

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and an accredited Nephrology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and team-based patient care.
