In partnership with NKC Health Hospital, Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Medical Director to provide services at our 48 bed acute rehab unit that serves patients in need of comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies

The Medical Director position will collaborate with the Program Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

About the System:
North Kansas City Hospital’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit is dedicated to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life following a serious illness, injury, stroke, neurological condition, or orthopedic event. Through a multidisciplinary approach, patients receive individualized care from experienced rehabilitation physicians, specialized nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists working together to maximize recovery. The 48 bed unit provides intensive, goal-oriented therapy in a supportive environment focused on restoring function, mobility, and confidence, allowing patients to safely transition back to their homes, families, and communities. Combined with the resources and reputation of North Kansas City Hospital, the Acute Rehabilitation Unit delivers comprehensive rehabilitation services close to home for residents throughout the Kansas City region.
