Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist — Travel 13-Week Contract in Carbondale, IL (Cardiac Bypass/Valve/Robotic Lung, $2,420/40h)

Contract cardiovascular technologist needed in Carbondale, IL for a 13-week daytime assignment beginning July 27, 2026. Full-time (40 hrs/week) schedule of five 8-hour days; rate $2,420/40 hours. On-call approximately 10 days per month (including one or occasionally two weekends) with a 30-minute response expectation.

Key responsibilities:

• Scrub primary cardiac cases including cardiopulmonary bypass and valve replacements.
• Scrub robotic pulmonary lobectomy/other robotic lung procedures.
• Assist with general OR cases as needed when CVOR cases are not scheduled.
• Maintain sterile technique, instrument handling, and efficient room turnover.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience scrubbing cardiac bypass, valve replacement, and robotic lung cases.
• Willingness to scrub general OR procedures when required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to respond promptly while on call.
