Join a short-term contract opportunity in Albuquerque, NM, starting July 20, 2026. This 13-week, local (non-travel) role follows a 35-hour weekly schedule and offers $2,212 per 35-hour week. The schedule covers all days of the week: Sunday through Saturday.

What we’re looking for

• A licensed and active Occupational Therapist in the state of New Mexico.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their home or care environments to uncover limitations and set realistic goals.
• Design and deliver individualized treatment plans using a range of therapeutic techniques to help patients regain or improve daily living skills.
• Recommend and train patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach patients and families strategies to promote independence and manage ongoing conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly and work closely with a multidisciplinary care team to adjust plans as needed.
