We’re looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a contract (non-travel) role in Waymart, PA. This position starts July 20, 2026, runs for 15 weeks, and follows an 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule. Local pay is $1,484 per 35-hour week.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations and carry out prescribed interventions and therapeutic exercises.
- Apply modalities and operate therapeutic equipment to help patients regain function.
- Teach patients and their families home exercise programs and provide clear instruction to promote recovery.
- Keep thorough, accurate patient records and communicate regularly with the PT and the broader healthcare team.
- Follow safety guidelines and infection-control procedures to protect patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
