Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) 14-Week Contract in Canaan, CT

We’re seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a short-term contract in Canaan, CT. This non-travel position begins August 1, 2026 and runs for 14 weeks with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $1,484 for a 35-hour week.

What you’ll need:

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients to pinpoint physical and functional limitations.
• Deliver interventions and therapeutic activities that improve motor skills, mobility, and independence with daily tasks.
• Instruct patients in the correct use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation—tracking treatments, progress, and any changes in condition.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures to keep the therapy setting safe and compliant.
