Locum tenens opportunity in Lewisburg, PA providing outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology coverage for a new community practice. Clinical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30, with a 1:2 weeknight and weekend on-call rotation. Coverage period runs from Oct 12, 2026 through Mar 08, 2027 with the following blocks: Oct 12–16, Oct 19–23, Oct 26–30; Nov 2–6, Nov 9–13, Nov 16–20, Nov 23–25, Nov 27, Nov 30–Dec 4, Dec 7–11, Dec 14–18, Dec 21–24, Dec 28–31; Jan 4–8, Jan 11–15, Jan 18–22, Jan 25–29; Feb 1–5, Feb 8–12, Feb 15–19, Feb 22–26; Mar 1–5, Mar 8, 2027.

Patient panel: adult hematology and oncology patients (approx. 10 visits/day with expected growth). Case mix includes general hematology and oncology (roughly 40% hematology / 60% oncology). Responsibilities include outpatient clinic care, inpatient consults as needed, and participation in the 1:2 call rotation.

Facility and support: 131-bed hospital; Epic EMR; support staff includes RNs (1), MAs (1), and office staff (2).

Requirements: MD/DO with BC or BE in Oncology, active PA medical license or IMLC/Universal license, and DEA. Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available). Typical credentialing timeline is 90 days.
