Required License:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in the safe use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition accurately and promptly.
- Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment.
