Pay Rate: $80-$100/hour

Sequoyah Staffing is seeking qualified Pharmacists for an anticipated contract opportunity at Tsaile Health Center, an Indian Health Service outpatient facility serving the Navajo Nation. This is a proposal opportunity, and positions are contingent upon contract award.

Position Highlights

• Pay: $80-$100/hour (depending on whether you choose to pay for your own travel arrangements or have it done with us)
• Travel: Airfare and lodging provided
• Malpractice: $1M/$3M professional liability coverage with tail coverage included
• Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pharmacy services in accordance with IHS policies and standards of practice.
• Review, verify, and dispense medications while ensuring safe and effective medication therapy.
• Counsel patients on medication use and management.
• Document patient care in the IHS Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and IHS requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent).
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS are preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain IHS credentialing and security requirements.
