Clinical Duties:

• Provide on-call OB/GYN coverage for ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
• Manage labor and deliveries, including newborn care and nursery admissions.
• Perform C-sections and all OB/GYN surgeries, including scheduled D&Cs.
• Respond to call-backs and manage GYN consultations and surgical cases.
• Collaborate with 2 staff physicians and 5 CNMs.

Patient/Case Mix:

• OB/GYN surgeries, cesarean sections, deliveries, D&C.

Facility Details:

• Department beds: 10 LDRP, 3 Postpartum, 1 Triage, 12 Normal Newborn nursery
• EMR: EPIC
• Support staff: 2 physicians, 5 CNMs

Privileges & Credentialing:

• Hospital privileges required; temporary/emergency temporary privileges available (with clean background, active OH license, and DEA)
• Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days

Compensation & Benefits:

• Travel and lodging covered (lodging approx. $150/night; standard/economy rates)

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Ohio medical license
• Active DEA registration
• NRP and ACLS certifications
• Flu vaccination
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Required Procedures:

• Cesarean sections
• All OB/GYN surgical procedures (including scheduled D&C)
• Deliveries
