Locum Tenens Hospital Medicine Physician – Fort Pierce, FL

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult inpatients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
• Admit patients, conduct daily rounds, coordinate consultations, and lead discharge planning.
• Work closely with specialists, nurses, case managers, and ancillary services to ensure coordinated care.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and deliver timely medical management.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Take part in multidisciplinary rounds to promote safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

What we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Prior hospitalist experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
