Orthopedic Total Joints Surgeon — Fly-In (BC/BE), Nevada (Predictable 10 Shifts/Month)

An established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community in Nevada seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in total joints/reconstructive procedures. This role offers a full-scope orthopedic practice with a predictable schedule, a collaborative surgical team, and comprehensive travel support—no relocation required.

Practice highlights:

• Balanced mix of elective and acute orthopedic cases, with emphasis on growing elective volume (total joint replacement, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care)
• Predictable schedule: 10 shifts/month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage
• Shifts selected 120 days in advance
• Fly-in model with licensing assistance and all travel expenses covered
• Onsite clinic with protected OR time
• Hospitalist-supported admissions and established, collaborative surgical team

Compensation and benefits:

• $3,195 per shift
• Full benefits package including medical, CME, and 401(k)
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• No non-compete agreement

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training or significant experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred
• Eligible for Nevada medical licensure (licensing support provided)
• Ability to manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases and participate in ED call coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
