Join a busy, Level I trauma center in Duluth, MN, as a locum tenens CRNA providing outpatient clinical coverage beginning Sept 1, 2026 and ongoing. You’ll work primarily weekdays with flexible shift lengths and occasional weekend coverage to help supplement the team.

Schedule & setting

  • Outpatient clinical coverage, Monday–Friday with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts; weekend shifts are 12- or 16-hours as needed.
  • Typical daily volume: about two longer cases or three to four shorter cases per 8-hour day.
  • EMR: Epic.

Who you’ll care for

  • Patients of all ages: adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
  • Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery (head and spine), cardiac (including open heart), thoracic, vascular, obstetrics, GI, EP, MRI, and CT procedures.

What you’ll do

  • Provide anesthesia across settings (OR, cath lab, GI, EP, MRI, CT).
  • Administer general, spinal, regional, and open-heart anesthesia as needed.
  • Manage ventilation, volume status, and blood pressure intraoperatively.
  • Place arterial lines and monitor hemodynamics.
  • Work collaboratively within a medically directed model alongside anesthesiologists to support a high-acuity surgical schedule, including trauma and complex cases.

Requirements

  • National CRNA certification (Board Certified).
  • Minnesota RN license.
  • BLS/ACLS/CPR current.
  • Graduate of an accredited anesthesia program.
  • Hospital privileges required.
