About This Opportunity
Sequoyah Staffing Agency is currently preparing a proposal for an upcoming opportunity with the Indian Health Service (IHS) and is seeking experienced Radiologic Technologists (RTs) to join our candidate pool.
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of all required credentialing, security, and onboarding requirements.
Position Overview
The Radiologic Technologist will provide outpatient diagnostic imaging services at Fort Yuma Health Care Center (FYHCC) in Winterhaven, California. The selected candidate will perform radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining compliance with established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pacific Time)

No weekends or Federal holidays unless otherwise authorized
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.

Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Follow radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles.

Document imaging procedures accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), RIS, and PACS systems.

Perform routine equipment quality control and report equipment issues as needed.

Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to support quality patient care.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all facility policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
-
Active, unrestricted state license, if required.

Minimum two (2) years of recent diagnostic radiology experience.

Current BLS certification.
-
Experience using EHR, RIS, and PACS systems.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required credentialing, security clearance, and onboarding requirements.
