Job Description
Join a locum team providing invasive/interventional cardiology coverage in Ogden, UT. This high-acuity assignment requires 24/7 ER coverage and availability for both interventional and primary cardiology calls.
Assignment details
- Call type: Emergency room coverage plus interventional and primary cardiology call
- Coverage: 24/7 throughout the assignment
- Typical daily volume: ~12 patients
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide ER coverage for acute cardiac presentations
- Respond to interventional and primary cardiology calls, including emergent cath lab activations
- Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies and perform necessary interventions
- Collaborate closely with the hospital cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Required qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Proven experience in Interventional Cardiology
- Competency in echocardiography, including TEE
- Active Utah medical license (or ability to obtain)
