We’re looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in Alameda, CA on a 13-week contract (non-travel). This position starts August 24, 2026 and follows a Monday–Friday schedule. The local compensation is $2,282 for a 35-hour week.

What you’ll need

• A valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Determine diagnoses and the severity of disorders, then develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy that targets articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.
• Treat swallowing (dysphagia) disorders and teach patients and families practical strategies and exercises.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records and work closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
