Join a Saint Albans, VT healthcare team as a contract Licensed Practical Nurse for a 12-week, non-travel assignment beginning Aug 3, 2026. This evening shift position (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) offers a local rate of $1220 per 40 hours.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse state license.
- BLS certification.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction, including comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor and document patients’ vital signs continuously.
- Manage wound care—evaluate, clean, dress wounds and monitor for infection or complications.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and deliver patient/family education on conditions and self-care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection prevention protocols.
