Join a reputable healthcare team in Chico, CA as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) on an 8-week contract/travel assignment beginning July 16, 2026. This evening-shift role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a pay rate of $1,804 per 40-hour week.
What you’ll do:
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and supplies according to facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate instrument tracking and documentation.
- Support operating room turnover and respond to procedural needs with efficiency and attention to sterilization quality.
- Follow infection control practices and equipment maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current certification through CBSPD, HSPA, or an equivalent sterile processing credential is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work evenings, and proven competence in sterile processing workflows.
