Anesthesiologist Outpatient Surgery Center

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a well-established outpatient ambulatory surgery center in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, no call, and exceptional work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• No call, nights, or weekends
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Typical hours: 7:00/8:00 AM – approximately 3:00 PM
• Occasional early starts (6:30 AM) and occasional days ending around 5:00 PM
• Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Physician-led anesthesia team
• Excellent quality of life with a consistent schedule

Practice Details

The majority of cases consist of outpatient GI procedures, including:

• Colonoscopies
• Upper Endoscopies (EGDs)

Additional outpatient procedures include:

• Colorectal surgery twice per month
• Interventional pain procedures every other week

This is a low-acuity outpatient practice with no inpatient or trauma call responsibilities.

Anesthesia Team

• Primarily a supervision model
• Typically 1 Anesthesiologist working alongside 1 CRNA
• Additional CRNA support available on higher-volume days

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation up to $415,000
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Two weeks of paid vacation
• One week of paid sick leave

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Comfortable providing anesthesia for outpatient GI procedures
