We’re seeking a pediatric physician to join a busy outpatient clinic in Hesperia, CA, to cover a long-term vacancy while a permanent search is underway. This is a locum tenens position with an ongoing coverage period starting August 1, 2026. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible lunch), providing clinical-only care in a high-demand setting. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.

Who you’ll see and what you’ll manage

• Care for pediatric patients from a socioeconomically challenged community, providing general pediatrics.
• Expect an average of about 25 patient encounters per day; the clinic experience can vary due to higher no-show rates.
• Use Epic for documentation and patient management.

Team and facility

• You’ll be supported by one RN, two MAs, and four office staff.
• No hospital privileges are required; your start date will follow completion of credentialing.

Qualifications

• Board eligible (within five years of residency).
• California medical license and DEA required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with Epic is necessary; Spanish-speaking clinicians are preferred.
