Join a busy emergency department at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, TX, as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner. You’ll provide comprehensive ED care on 10-hour shifts (schedule: 10-hour shifts), starting Sep 15, 2026 and ongoing. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided.

What the shift looks like

• Average daily volume: about 57 patients per day.
• No call requirement.
• Department has 14 ER beds and is a Level IV Trauma Center.
• EMR: Medhost.
• Specialty backup available (OB/GYN, imaging/ultrasound, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, rehabilitation).

Who we’re looking for

• Active Texas NP license and DEA registration required.
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in emergency medicine.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum emergency care for patients presenting to the ED.
• Conduct initial assessments including histories and physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Coordinate care with attending physicians and specialty teams.
• Document patient encounters accurately in Medhost EMR.
