We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist with specialized expertise in heart failure management to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced, patient-centered care for individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart failure.
The NM Heart Institute at Lovelace Medical Group is comprised of 52 multi-disciplinary providers. The group is collegial and collaborative. We are a progressive group, specializing in advanced heart and vascular care.

Position Highlights:
•    Full-Time Employment
•    Inpatient/Outpatient mix
•    On-site Testing Available: ECHO, Vascular, CT, and Nuclear
•    Join a team of 36 physicians, 7 physician assistants, 16 nurse practitioners, and an extensive support staff 
•    Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-10 hour days/4-5 weekdays per week)
•    Daily Patient Load: 18
•    Q8 Call Schedule: Rotating evenings and weekend (we need to know if this is in house or telephone only)
•    Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience          AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and              ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Medical degree from an accredited institution.
•    BC/BE in Cardiology
•    Fellowship training in heart failure or advanced heart failure and transplant 
•    Valid medical license/eligible in New Mexico
