- Call only -- beeper call, 30-minute response time, 1-in-3 call ratio
- Avg. 3 phone consults, 3 patients seen, 3 admissions per 24-hour call
- Inpatient setting -- coverage for unassigned patients
- Ventilation management required -- newborn and pediatric
- Intubation (ETT/NT) required -- newborn and pediatric patients
- X-ray and EKG interpretation required
- Additional skills: exchange transfusion, suturing, circumcision, swallow studies
- Ongoing coverage
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
