East Carolina Anesthesia Associates currently has full time opportunities available for experienced and student anesthetists at ECU Health. We offer a strong work/life balance, mainly 10 hour shifts are available with the opportunity to pick up additional call if desired. We offer a unique scheduling system that allows shifts to be picked up or dropped.
We offer a $100,000 signing bonus/stipend to students and experienced anesthetists for a 4 year commitment. We offer a $70,000 stipend/bonus for a 3 year commitment.
We offer a highly competitive, newly restructured base salary, in addition to a stellar benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K with 6% matching, in addition to other company-paid benefits.

ECU Health, a Level 1 trauma center, is the 21st largest hospital in the nation with nearly 1,400 beds. In addition to the main trauma center the ECU campus is home to The James and Connie Maynard Pediatric Hospital, East Carolina Heart Institute, and ECU Health SurgiCenter. Services are provided to a catchment area of 1.4 million people in 29 counties throughout Eastern North Carolina.
THE WHOLE PACKAGE
Base salary for new graduates starts at - $210,000 (base salary is higher for experience)
Estimated Call pay (with the opportunity to earn much more) - $23,000
Stipend/Bonus package w/ 4-year commitment - $100,000
401K contribution - $12,000
CME - $1500
Medical Insurance Employee Contribution valued at - $8500
Fully paid Long-term Disability and Life Insurance valued at - $2,000
Our year 1 total package for new graduates is well over $300,000!!!! With the opportunity to earn more!!
