Job Description
Locum cardiology physician needed in Omaha, Nebraska for inpatient and outpatient general cardiology coverage.
Schedule and systems
- Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Potential night call: 4:30 PM–8:00 AM (limited)
- EMR: Epic
Clinical responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters in Epic
- Participate in night-call coverage as required
Requirements
- Board certified in Cardiology
- Active Nebraska and Iowa medical licenses
- Current DEA registration
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in general cardiology, ECHO, and TEE
