Chair, Breast Imaging (Radiology) — Leadership Role in Brooklyn with Loan Repayment & Visa Support

Join a leading Brooklyn healthcare organization as a full-time Breast Imaging radiology leader. This role combines clinical practice with administrative oversight to develop and expand a comprehensive breast imaging program and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical breast imaging services: screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures.
• Serve as Chairperson of Mammography: oversight of clinical operations, quality and safety (MQSA compliance), workflow optimization, and program development.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, protocol standardization, and performance monitoring.
• Supervise and mentor radiology staff and trainees; promote physician education and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Participate in recruitment, credentialing, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with hospital leadership and other departments on service expansion, equipment acquisition, and strategic planning.

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or Women’s Imaging.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR).
• Current New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one before start.
• MQSA-qualified physician meeting federal Mammography Quality Standards Act requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided procedures.
• Previous leadership experience (e.g., Section Chief, Medical Director, Chairperson) preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient-centered care, and education.
