Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring oral and maxillofacial surgical care.
• Perform a broad range of procedures including office-based anesthesia and implant surgery (preferred).
• Coordinate care with referring clinicians and the practice team.
• Maintain documentation, comply with regulatory requirements, and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD, MD, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Active New York medical and/or dental license, or ability to obtain prior to start.
• DEA registration and New York controlled substance certification, or eligibility to obtain.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
