This role is essential in supporting clinicians, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a positive experience for every patient we serve. Compensation range is between $16-$22 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care and Support
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, mental health screenings, and laboratory referrals
- Help create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for patients and families
- Collect DNA samples and administer injections as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with psychiatric NPs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
- Coordinate medication requests, follow-up appointments, and referral needs
- Complete intake triage and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Process prior authorizations for psychotropic medications in a timely and accurate manner
- Support clinic workflows to ensure efficient daily operations
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- Current CMA or RMA credential
- Experience obtaining vital signs, documenting patient information, and supporting clinical procedures

- Experience working with EHR systems (Epic)
