- Call only coverage -- beeper call with 20-minute response time
- Call ratio: 1:2
- 4 - 5 phone consults, 4 - 5 patients seen, 4 - 5 admissions per call
- Inpatient only practice setting
- General CV/thoracic surgery -- open and endoscopic required
- CABG, valvular repair, aneurysm repair, lung resection, and TAVR required
- AICD placement, LVAD, bronchoscopy, and vent management required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
