Emergency Medicine Physician — Pittsburg, KS (Board-Certified/Eligible; J-1 Visa Support, $250/hr + Bonuses)

Join a close-knit, physician-led emergency department in Pittsburg, Kansas, where teamwork, work-life balance, and high-quality patient care come first. We’re looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician — or a Family/Internal Medicine physician with strong ED experience — to become part of a collaborative, well-supported team.

• 16-bed Emergency Department with roughly 19,000 visits per year
• Team-based model: 6 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers sharing shifts and supporting one another
• Broad case mix serving a diverse community, with solid multidisciplinary backup from specialists, imaging, and ancillary services

Schedule and work-life balance

• Flexible scheduling designed to promote sustainable workloads and physician well-being
• Typical shifts: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Full-time expectation: 120 hours per month

Compensation and benefits

• $250 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package
• Up to $75,000 sign-on bonus and up to $50,000 retention bonus

Qualifications we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree
• ABEM-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, or a Primary Care physician (Family or Internal Medicine) with ED experience
• Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Kansas medical license
• Strong clinical judgment, commitment to patient-centered emergency care, and excellent teamwork and communication skills
