Locums CRNA — Level I Trauma Center, Richmond (Flexible 8/10/12‑hr Shifts, High‑Acuity)

Join a busy Level I Trauma Center in Richmond as a locum CRNA, where you’ll provide high-quality, hospital-based anesthesia care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires flexibility and comfort with urgent and complex cases, and offers varied shift lengths to fit different coverage needs.

What you’ll do

• Deliver anesthesia for a broad range of surgical procedures, including emergent and trauma cases
• Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as clinically indicated
• Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Prioritize patient safety and follow clinical protocols and best practices
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Shift & setting

• Level I Trauma Center (inpatient/hospital-based)
• Flexible schedule with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available
• High-volume, fast-paced clinical environment

What we’re looking for

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Active CRNA certification
• Virginia CRNA license or the ability to obtain one
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior experience in trauma or other high-acuity settings is preferred
• Willingness to work flexible shift lengths (8s, 10s, 12s)
