Locums Cardiology Physician — Weekday 8–4:30, Epic, ECHO/TEE (Omaha, NE)

A healthcare system in the Omaha, NE region seeks a Locum cardiology physician to provide inpatient and outpatient general cardiology coverage. The role is weekday-based in a collaborative, well-supported practice with potential limited night-call responsibility.

Schedule and Systems

• Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Potential night call: 4:30 PM–8:00 AM (as needed)
• EMR: Epic

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions (inpatient and outpatient)
• Perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Document all patient encounters in Epic
• Participate in night-call coverage when required

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiology
• Active Nebraska and Iowa medical licenses
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in general cardiology, ECHO, and TEE
