Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician — Boston Suburb (Flexible Nights, $230/hr + Bonuses)

Join a well-established community hospital just south of Boston as a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician. You'll work in a collaborative, physician-led Emergency Department with experienced colleagues, strong specialty support, flexible scheduling, and excellent earning potential.

Position highlights:

• Compensation: $230/hour plus productivity and quality bonuses; annual bonus up to $40,000
• Night shift differential: additional $325 per night
• Full-time schedule: 15 shifts/month, primarily 8.5-hour shifts
• Flexible, physician-driven scheduling

Emergency Department:

• Approximately 60,000 annual visits
• Daily coverage: 84 physician hours and 36 APP hours
• Two physicians on overnight coverage from 1:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Robust specialty support: Surgery, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Neonatology, 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, and dedicated Hospitalist services

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and specialists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ATLS required until Emergency Medicine board certification is achieved
