Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Academic, Resident-Teaching ED in Kingwood/Houston, TX

We’re looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join a busy, academically affiliated Emergency Department in Kingwood (Houston), Texas. What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures appropriate to Emergency Medicine practice and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate closely with residents, consulting specialists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency required.
• Ultrasound fellowship preferred.
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications as required.
