Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Outpatient Clinic, Casper WY

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology practice in Casper, Wyoming, as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Work with a collaborative team of GI specialists in a predictable weekday schedule with strong clinical support and an excellent work–life balance. No prior GI experience required—providers with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & logistics

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Clinic days: 3–4 per week in Casper
• One dedicated administrative day per week
• Potential outreach travel 1–2 days per week (travel reimbursement provided)
• 1-hour lunch daily
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Typical volume: ~12–16 patients/day
• No hospital rounding
• Dedicated medical assistant support

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions in adults
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits; develop individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive care
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and the clinical team across multiple clinic sites

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $115,000–$125,000
• 45% production bonus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as an NP or PA
• Eligible for or holding a Wyoming NP or PA license
• GI experience or adult internal medicine background preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
