Locum Tenens Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist — Outpatient, Mansfield Center CT

Outpatient position providing psychiatric care to adults in Mansfield Center, Connecticut.

Details

• Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Patient volume: ~10–12 patients per day
• Discharges/Transitions: ~2 per day
• Program size: 28 total beds (affiliated inpatient/step-down services)
• Population: Adults with a broad range of mental health diagnoses
• Care model: Multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management
• Create and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with therapists, nurses, case managers, and other providers
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care across settings
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation and meet productivity expectations

Qualifications

• Board certified in General/Adult Psychiatry
• Experience or willingness to practice in an outpatient setting
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
