Locums Pediatrician — Full-Time 6-Month Outpatient Role in Whitefield, NH (Mon–Fri, 8–5)

We’re seeking a compassionate, experienced pediatrician to provide full-time locum coverage at a well-established outpatient pediatric practice in Whitefield, New Hampshire for approximately six months while a permanent provider is recruited. You’ll join a collaborative, family-centered team and care for the full spectrum of outpatient pediatrics in a supportive setting.

Position highlights

• Assignment length: ~6 months (subject to permanent recruitment)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5 days/week required)
• Setting: Outpatient pediatrics
• Patient volume: ~18–22 patients per day
• Coverage: Full-time

What you’ll do

• Deliver comprehensive care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents
• Perform well-child visits, newborn care, immunizations, and routine preventive care
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic pediatric conditions
• Monitor growth and development, screen for delays, and coordinate early intervention when needed
• Provide anticipatory guidance and age-appropriate preventive screening
• Counsel parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, development, behavior, and disease prevention
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Build strong relationships with patients and families to promote healthy growth and lifelong wellness

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Active New Hampshire medical license preferred
• Candidates without a New Hampshire license or IMLC eligibility must obtain both a locum tenens license and a permanent New Hampshire license
• Current DEA registration
