Pediatric Dermatologist (Academic Faculty) — Brown University Health, Providence RI

Brown University Health invites applications for a full-time pediatric dermatology faculty position based in Providence, Rhode Island. Join a collaborative, academically focused team providing comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics.
• Provide inpatient and emergency consultations at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
• Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and conferences, including the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology–Genetics conferences.
• Supervise and teach trainees—Brown Dermatology and pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, medical students, and other learners.
• Contribute to academic programs through didactic teaching, conference participation, and scholarly activity.
• Engage in clinical research and trials, with opportunities to lead studies.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology (completed or in progress).
• Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Rhode Island medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, trainee education, and patient-centered care.
• Interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
