Position overview
Full-time role providing general anesthesiology and interventional pain management care in inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
• Perform interventional pain procedures and manage acute/chronic pain
• Participate in a 1:6 call rotation
• Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records and documentation
• Adhere to institutional policies, safety protocols, and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed Anesthesiology residency
• Pain Medicine fellowship preferred
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (Pain Medicine preferred)
• Eligible for or able to obtain a Louisiana medical license
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
