Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner — Skilled Nursing/Primary Care (Las Vegas, NV)

We are seeking a Locums Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary and post-acute care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Centennial Hills and the Northwest Valley of Las Vegas, NV. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working independently with geriatric and adult patients within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Compensation: $100–$110 per hour

Schedule and Setting

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• SNF-based care only; no hospital responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and post-acute medical care for SNF residents.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine follow-ups, admissions, and discharge evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; prescribe and adjust medications as needed.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation therapists, and facility administrators.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, active, unrestricted Nevada RN and NP licenses.
• DEA registration.
• Minimum of one year of NP experience; experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, post-acute care, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Current TB screening.
• Residence in or near the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and independent clinical decision-making.
