Job Description

Join a collaborative team dedicated to improving maternal and newborn outcomes by ensuring every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital receives expert, consistent care from an experienced physician.

This full-time hospitalist role in Auburn, Washington (additional opportunities in Everett, Kirkland, Olympia, Silverdale and Tacoma) offers an excellent work/life balance and the chance to work closely with local obstetricians while focusing on inpatient care—no office management and no traditional on-call duties.

Role expectations

  • Provide expert inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care for hospitalized patients
  • Manage obstetric emergencies and collaborate with local obstetric teams to ensure safety and satisfaction for every patient
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and practice evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Washington medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and deliver comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and commitment to continuous clinical improvement
