Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon — Trauma & Acute Care (Corpus Christi, TX)

Join a trauma-focused neurosurgery team on the South Texas Gulf Coast, covering an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center that also supports elective cases. This locum opportunity offers a flexible block schedule, robust APP support, and work in a modern hospital — all while enjoying coastal living.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide trauma and acute-care neurosurgical coverage, including emergency and inpatient management.
• Perform elective procedures as appropriate and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Rely on an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider for clinical support.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and complete required documentation.

Schedule & commitment

• Per diem role with 4–7 flexible 24-hour shifts per month. No additional call required.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery.

Compensation & support

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift.
• Travel, lodging, and transportation fully covered.
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided.
• Dedicated locum consultant to assist with credentialing and scheduling.
