Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist — Carmel, NY (Full-Time)

Location: Carmel, New York

Summary:
Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care as part of a hospital-based team, ensuring timely, expert management of pregnant patients and obstetric emergencies. Collaborate with local obstetricians while maintaining a predictable schedule and work/life balance.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist role; typically 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (≈21 days off)
• No office management duties or traditional on-call responsibilities
• Flexible scheduling with potential for bonuses; ability to create your own schedule

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including labor and delivery management
• Manage obstetric emergencies and perform necessary procedures
• Coordinate care with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and hospital teams
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Participate in peer review, case discussions, and interdisciplinary rounds as needed

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• New York medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and inpatient care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
