Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Colorado Springs

Join a growing outpatient Gastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time position offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and a collaborative team environment. Prior GI experience is not required; candidates with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch daily
• Patient population: adults (18+)
• Typical patient volume: 12–16 patients/day
• Inpatient rounding rotation: every 6 weeks

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic GI conditions in adults
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits; develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive care
• Participate in rotating inpatient rounds every six weeks
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical support staff to deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as NP or PA
• Eligible for or holding an active Colorado license
• GI experience or background in adult internal medicine preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $120,000–$135,000
