OB/GYN Hospitalist — Augusta, GA | $300–340K, Flexible Schedule, No Call

Seeking experienced Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians to join a hospitalist team in Augusta, GA (additional opportunities in Albany, Covington, and Savannah). This role ensures every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital receives timely, expert physician care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN and labor & delivery care
• Manage obstetric emergencies and acute inpatient gynecologic issues
• Collaborate with local obstetricians, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Schedule & compensation

• Full-time hospitalist position; flexible self-created schedules
• Typical workload: 7–9 24-hour shifts/month (approximately 21 days off/month)
• No on-call or office management responsibilities
• Base salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits; potential bonuses

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and deliver high-quality inpatient OB/GYN care
