Nocturnist (Night Hospitalist) Physician — Martinsburg, WV (Hospital Medicine)

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive overnight care for hospitalized adult patients
• Admit and manage patients from the Emergency Department
• Perform history and physical examinations and develop management plans
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions encountered overnight
• Respond to clinical changes and urgent overnight needs
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and daytime hospitalists to ensure continuity
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with commitment to patient-centered care
