Locums Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — Torrington, CT (Mondays & Fridays)

Locums NP or PA needed in Torrington, CT. Primarily seeking coverage on Mondays and Fridays. Providers will split shifts between two nearby clinic sites and must be flexible with site assignments and last-minute schedule changes. Local candidates preferred; must be willing to travel up to 45 minutes for coverage.

Compensation: $90 per hour

Schedule:

• Primarily Mondays and Fridays
• Split-day coverage between two clinics
• Must accept last-minute schedule/site changes

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide walk-in urgent care for patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
• Perform physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe treatments and medications per scope of practice
• Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, and I&Ds
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
• Travel between two clinic locations as required during shift

Requirements:

• Active NP or PA license in Connecticut
• Experience in urgent care or similar acute care setting
• Comfort treating all age groups
• Able and willing to travel up to 45 minutes for shifts
• Flexible with schedule and site assignments
• Local candidates preferred
